Bryce and Felicia – Papago Park Engagement Portraits

Bryce and Felicia approached me about photographing their wedding in Spring 2020! They have been together for quite a few years and are excited for a low-key wedding at the Desert Botanical Garden. For their reception they are renting out a local brewery! Umm…Beer and a pizza food truck post-ceremony, how great is that? Because they are Arizona locals and it’s close to the DBG, they chose to celebrate their engagement at Papago Park!

These two originally started dating when working at a local water park together as life guards. Bryce was actually Felicia’s manager but one could say she really took his breath away. Their relationship definitely made a splash!

More often than not, portrait sessions begin with clients explaining how awkward they are in front of the camera. Bryce and Felicia tried to claim they were awful in photographs and were reserved with their public displays of affection. “We don’t even take selfies!” they claimed. I think these photos speak for themselves – these guys crushed it. Can’t wait to celebrate with them in March!

    1. I’m so glad you mentioned their outfits! Sometimes clients ask for recommendations with clothing, but not these guys – they’re renowned for rocking the florals and you know they showed up!

    1. Thank you so much! I think they had a good time, I got a text a couple days later how they had shared a laugh about not understanding some of my instructions! I strive to deliver a photography experience that is comfortable and fun!
